The Scriptures That
Todd Used First To Destroy
1. Psalm 34:
1 I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
4I sought the LORD, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
5They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.
6This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
7The angel[a] of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.
8Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
9Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
10The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
11Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?
13Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
15The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.
16The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.
21Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22The LORD redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
#2 Romans 7:14-20
14For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do
not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16If, then, I do what I will not
to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17But now, it is no longer I
who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18For I know that in me (that is, in
my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to
perform what is good I do not find. 19For the good that I will to do, I do
not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20Now if I do what I
will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
#3 Proverbs 23:31-35:
31Do not look on the wine when it is red,
When it sparkles in the cup,
When it swirls around smoothly;
32At the last it bites like a serpent,
And stings like a viper.
33Your eyes will see strange things,
And your heart will utter perverse things.
34Yes, you will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
Or like one who lies at the top of the mast, saying:
35"They have struck me, but I was not hurt;
They have beaten me, but I did not feel it.
When shall I awake, that I may seek another drink?"
#4 Mark 5:34
34And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace,
and be healed of your affliction."
#5 Romans 5:3,4
3And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that
tribulation produces perseverance; 4and perseverance, character; and
#6 Matthew 7:7,8
7"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it
will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks
finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

27But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with
#8 John 5:42
42But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you.
#9 Acts 10:34-35
34Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows
no partiality. 35But in every nation whoever fears Him and works
righteousness is accepted by Him.
#10 1 Corinthians 7:5
5Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may
give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan
does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
#11 Ecclesiastes 2:10-11
10Whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them.
I did not withhold my heart from any pleasure,
For my heart rejoiced in all my labor;
And this was my reward from all my labor.
11Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done
And on the labor in which I had toiled;
And indeed all was vanity and grasping for the wind.
There was no profit under the sun.
#12 Ecclesiastes 1:9
9That which has been is what will be,
That which is done is what will be done,
And there is nothing new under the sun.
